STITCHES MAGAZINE ISSUE 1

Client: University Project Role: Editor-in-Chief · Art Direction · Editorial Design Stitches was born from a simple question: what holds visual culture together? It began as a quiet observation that visual ideas, like fabric, are made up of layers, tensions, and intricate seams. This magazine became a space to explore those threads, to look at how identities, aesthetics, and disciplines intersect and overlap. I approached the project as both designer and editor, shaping it not just as an object but as a point of view. Each spread was treated as a conversation between text and image, between reader and maker. The tone was intentional, reflective, and curious, speaking to an audience that sees design as more than just surface. Creating Stitches was a way to reflect on the visual language we live with and often take for granted. It’s a publication that doesn’t rush to explain, but invites you to sit with it, to read, look, and trace the lines that connect.
